worst place for homophobia

People say the south is very homophobic but I really don't believe it. I live in Georgia and most people are pretty cool.

Where I live it is very homophobic. Straight guys act very defensive and will not associate with gays. And the sad thing- is that I've seen gay guys in different jobs -- and they only last a few months (if that). It's one of the reasons I am still in the closet: I do not need trouble getting and keeping a job. I know that sounds horrible, but it's not easy to get a job.

The worst place i heard for Homophobia is Jamaica. I even read that they arrest you or something like that if they catch a guy in bed with another guy.

How is it in Mexico City?

Hi everyone:

In México City we have two faces about this topic. First, recently was approved the marry between people of same sex and the agreement of children adoption is coming. We have a gay pride in June, you can see gay couples kissing on the street and there´s no problem with the other people, we have a great gay night life and our special zone, called Zona Rosa.
By the other hand, there´s homophobia from the catholic organizations and some special population sectors, even there are an important number of homophobic murders. There are a lot of contrast.
